On parle souvent de l’entrepreneuriat comme s’il n’existait qu’une seule façon d’entreprendre. Dans l’imaginaire collectif, l’entrepreneur est souvent l’un de ces deux personnages : celui qui s’épuise au travail ou celui qui fait fortune grâce à un business plan brillant qui fonctionne. This article is not about politics. It is about the difference between founders and managers, vision and administration, building and maintaining. Villages and companies are not so different. Some people preserve systems. Others create momentum. And when the builder disappears, institutions often discover that structure alone cannot replace direction, coherence, or belief.

The outside world sees more than those inside tend to imagine. Be it citizens, clients, visitors, they feel the difference long before anyone inside thinks to measure it. They also recognize authenticity when they see it. And feel its absence when it’s gone.

Eventually the same question always appears: Was the success in the system or in the person who built it?
